Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled undergraduate students, and to high school students age 16 and older with a signed parental consent form on file. Valid student ID or proof of enrollment required at check-in. Teams of up to 4. Participants under 18 are not eligible for the UX University Challenge track. Contact us before registering.

Projects: All work must be created during the hackathon. You may use open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks, but the core project must be built on-site during the event. Pre-existing projects are not eligible.

Judging: General track projects are scored on Creativity & Originality, Technical Complexity, Impact & Usefulness, and Execution & Polish. Sponsored tracks are judged on the criteria listed in the track description and Judging Criteria section. Judges' decisions are final.

Conduct: All participants must follow the event Code of Conduct at tampabayinnovation.com/bay-hacks#code-of-conduct. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.

Ownership: Participants retain ownership of their intellectual property, except where a sponsored track specifies different terms. Sponsored track terms apply only to the winning team of that track and are disclosed in the track description and Prizes section before you opt in. All other participants retain full ownership.
